The 2015 NHLA Annual Convention and Exhibit Showcase

The 2015 National Hardwood Lumber Association (NHLA) Annual Convention & Exhibit Showcase will be held at the Omni Nashville Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee October 7-9 providing the opportunity to attend a multitude of educational seminars, listen to two influential keynote speakers and, of course, have some fun and mingle with other industry professionals!

This is the annual global gathering of the hardwood industry in the USA and it would take months to tour all these companies in their home states. So this offers most of the industry under one roof. The Convention starts on Wednesday 7^th October with golf, delegate registration and a welcome ‘icebreaker’ reception.  On Thursday 8^th Oct events include the Opening Ceremony, with an update report from Mark Barford, NHLA CEO  with Keynote Speaker.   This is followed by the Exhibition Showcase which includes a free buffet lunch and several educational seminars including a presentation on the ‘Hardwood Industry Update’ from Mike Snow, Executive Director AHEC.

Friday 9^th October starts with a General Session and a further chance to tour the Exhibition Showcase, followed by more educational seminars. International Markets will be covered by AHEC during the afternoon.  The convention wraps up with an evening of country music from the famous ‘Live from Nashville’
